Kajabi gives you tools to create and sell your online courses, coaching programs, podcasts, and more. Many platforms do one, or some of these things, but Kajabi does them all. This adds a layer of difficulty in comparing the price of Kajabi to other platforms.

This article will explain each of the 3 Kajabi plans, Basic, Growth, and Pro and their prices. It also explains what Kajabi Access is and how much it cost. What are the Kajabi Plans?

Kajabi has 3 plans, Basic, Growth, and Pro. All the plans have similar features but each is designed with a specific user in mind.

Similar Features in All Plans

Each plan includes all the features below. The main difference between Kajabi plans is how many of or what your quota is for each of the features. There are other differences that get explained later in the article.

Each plan has access to Kajabi University, which provides extensive on-demand training for using Kajabi. This training in not limited to how to use Kajabi, but also covers topics about how to market courses online, and provides other coaching on how to be a digital entrepreneur.

All Kajabi plans are compatible with the Kajabi app which puts your products right on your customer's smartphones via an app instead of navigating through a web browser.

Another similarity between the Kajabi plans is the annual discount. If you choose to pay annually instead of monthly, you get a 20% discount.

There are some features that you only get access to in the Kajabi Growth or Pro plans. In the Growth plan, you get to use the affiliate program, andvanced automations, can remove Kajabi branding, and get 24/7 chat support. In the Pro plan, you get the code editor.

How the Kajabi Pricing Plans Differ

The major difference between the Kajabi pricing plans that cause users to upgrade from one plan to another is the quota limits of a given feature in a specific plan. For example, the number of products and funnels you can have differs from plan to plan. Note that “product” refers to an online course, a membership area, a podcast, a community, or a coaching package. The Basic plan allows only 3 of these, whereas the Growth plan allows for 15 and the Pro plan allows for 100.

Kajabi Basic Plan

The Kajabi pricing for the Basic plan is $149 per month, or the equivalent of $119 per month if billed annually.

Is the Kajabi Basic Plan right for you?

The Kajabi basic plan is a great plan for an entrepreneur who is only selling 1 or 2 things and doesn’t need more than one extra admin user profile to help them with their work in the backend of Kajabi. If this is you, then consider the Basic plan.

Kajabi Growth Plan

The Kajabi pricing for the Growth plan is $199 per month, or the equivalent of $159 per month if billed annually.

Is the Kajabi Growth Plan right for you?

The Kajabi growth plan is the most popular because it allows for multiple admins, 15 products, and advanced automation. When you sign up for a 30-day free trial, you also get put in the growth plan. You can change this at any time during your trial to the basic if you don’t need the extra features. When you change from the growth plan to another plan during a free trial period, your free trial ends on the day you make that change, so if you are going to do this, try to make the change at the end of your trial period.

What are Kajabi’s Advanced Automations?

An example of advanced automations is if you have a form and want a different email to be sent to people depending on a selection they made in the form. You will need the advanced automations to set up the condition of one email being sent corresponding to one selection and another email being sent corresponding to another selection within the form.

What is Kajabi Branding?

The Kajabi branding is very minor, they don’t put their logo on your site or slap Kajabi all over the place. If left on, there is the text “Powered by Kajabi” in the lower right corner of the footer. This text is a clickable link that is connected to your partner profile with Kajabi so if someone clicks on it and then signs up for Kajabi you can get a commission payment.

What is Kajabi’s Affiliate Program?

The Kajabi affiliate program allows you to use affiliates to market your products. It allows you to set up links for your affiliates to use and track their link clicks and purchases. You can also set up a coupon for your affiliates so their audience gets a discount.

Kajabi Pro Plan

The Kajabi pricing for the Pro plan is $399 per month, or the equivalent of $319 per month when billed annually.

Is the Kajabi Pro Plan right for you?

The Kajabi pro plan is a great plan for an entrepreneur who has lots of products, a large team, the technical abilities to use the code editor, or even needs more than 1 website.

What is the Kajabi Code Editor?

The code editor is editor for the full code of all of the Kajabi pages. Unlike the custom code area in the settings of each page, or the header page scripts area in the site details or the footer scripts in the checkout pages. The code editor gives you full control over the whole program. This is a completely technical tool and is not intended for typical Kajabi users.

Kajabi’s Competitors

Here are 2 tips when you are comparing Kajabi pricing to pricing from other platforms. Pay attention to the number of contacts you get. With Kajabi’s basic plan you up to 10,000 contacts. The size of your email list has a big influence on the cost of email marketing from other platforms like ConvertKit, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign which scale their pricing on list size. The monthly prices of these platforms can be over $200 at the 10,000 level. The monthly fee of an email platform can creep up on you after your email list has grown over a year or two.

Second, do your best to know what features of Kajabi you expect to or want to use. If you are just using Kajabi for a website platform, there will be a lot of cheaper options out there. If you are using Kajabi for a website, email marketing, funnels, and courses, then it is going to be cheaper than the combined price of all the alternatives you would need.

I’ve summarized some competitor pricing below, these prices are meant to illustrate how things can add up when you are using single-feature platforms. A one-size-fits-all comparison is impossible to make because each of these platforms offers different pricing levels for different features etc.

While it isn’t strictly a pricing issue, it is important to keep in mind the simplicity and time savings of dealing with one platform that can do all of these things, as opposed to what is required to learn many different platforms and have them work together properly.

Kajabi Access

Kajabi Access is there for you if you want a higher quota than the growth plan but don’t want the pro plan. It costs $99 per month and aside from doubling your quotas for everything, gives you other benefits.

Kajabi Access gives you six one-on-one sessions, 45 minutes each, with one of Kajabi’s Customer Success Managers. Since they know the ins and outs of the platform, your experience should be more positive and successful. You also get access to the code editor.

Kajabi Access can be added to the basic, growth, and pro plans.
