Kajabi Pricing 2025: A Deep Dive Into the New Plans (Is It Still Worth It?)
Nov 05, 2025Last updated November 2025
For the first time in nearly a decade, Kajabi has implemented a significant update to its pricing and plan structure. At the same time they released some major product improvements and new features. This ‘Kajabi Evolved’ update is more than a simple price increase; they made some big changes to their plan quotas and limits as well.
Kajabi said that in making this move they are recognizing that a lot has changed since 2015 when they were just a digital course platform, a lot within the company and a lot in the industry. The Creator Economy has evolved and will continue to do so and this update to Kajabi’s pricing, plans, and platform is going to help Kajabi stay at the top of the industry amongst its competitors in the all-in-one platform market.
So if you haven’t looked at Kajabi pricing in a while, this is for you, there is a lot more going on in Kajabi than there used to be.

What are the Kajabi Plans?
Kajabi has 4 plans: Kickstarter, Basic, Growth, and Pro. Each plan gives you a fully functional version of Kajabi that lets you take your business online and start selling your content, growing your email list, and building your brand.

Does Kajabi Charge Transaction Fees?
If you use Kajabi Payments as your payment processor there are no transaction fees, just processing fees. The typical processing fees are $0.30 per transaction plus 2.9% if you are in Kickstarter or Basic, 2.8% if you are in Growth and 2.7% if you are in the Pro account.

Other fees apply for things like payment plans and subscriptions, invoices, and international transactions etc. The fee structure for Kajabi payments is very similar to Stripes and follows industry standards for payment processing.
If you use Stripe or PayPal as your payment processor there are transaction fees. You will pay the processing fees to them as well as transaction fees to Kajabi based on what plan you are in: 5% in the Kickstarter plan, 2% in the Basic plan, 1% in the Growth plan, and 0.5% in the Pro plan.

Kajabi payments allows the processing of credit cards as well as uses Apple Pay and Google and 3rd party payment plan offers like Klarna or After Pay (3rd party fees apply to those). It is also a lot easier to manage payment issues, pause payment plans or subscriptions, give refunds and things like that with Kajabi payments. You also need to use Kajabi payments in order to use the invoice feature. So overall, it makes a lot of sense to use Kajabi Payments for your payment gateway, not even considering the extra charges to use Stripe or PayPal.
What is the Same Between the Kajabi Plans?
You’ll notice looking at Kajabi’s pricing page or the image above that there are ‘Core Features’ that are the same in each plan. These core features are:
- Products (Course, Community, Coaching, Podcast, Newsletter, Downloads)
- Contacts (People on your email list)
- Website
- Community with unlimited access groups (access groups are different levels of access or different tiers within your community)
- Admin Users
- Unlimited Marketing Emails
- Unlimited Landing Pages
- Unlimited Funnels
Other similarities across all plans:
- Blog
- The customer App (your clients use this app to access your content)
- Transaction fees for not using Kajabi Payments as the payment processor
- Each plan also includes AI integration, 24/7 support, and the creator studio.
- 20% discount for annual payment instead of monthly payment subscription.
All plans have access to Kajabi University, which provides extensive on-demand training for using Kajabi. This training is not limited to how to use Kajabi, but also covers topics about how to market courses online, and provides other coaching on how to be a digital entrepreneur.
All Kajabi plans are compatible with the Kajabi app which puts your products right on your customer's smartphones via an app instead of navigating through a web browser. When Kajabi launched their ‘Kajabi Evolved’ thing in September 2025 and made all these changes to the plans and released a bunch of feature improvements, they also made a huge update to the Kajabi app. Now course, community, coaching, and even podcasts are all in one app so your customers don’t have to have 2 apps and can get all your content in one place.
What is the Difference Between the Kajabi Plans?
There are two differences between Kajabi’s plans, limit or quota differences and feature differences.
This table outlines the limit or quota differences.
Kickstarter
Basic
Growth
Pro
A big change here is that the Basic plan moved up from 3 to 5 products and dropped from 10,000 to 2,500 contacts. The growth product also got a big increase from 15 to 50 products. It seems like Kajabi is putting more focus in the products area of their plans to make it easier for creators to try new courses out and grow.
The ‘feature differences’ can be seen in the additional features on Kajabi’s pricing page and in the screen shot below.

In the Basic plan you get 3rd Party Integrations and a custom domain. In the Growth plan you get quite a bit more; remove Kajabi branding, the affiliate program, advanced automations, universal inbox, comment-to-DM, cohort courses, and webhooks. Some of these need a bit of an explanation. Advanced automations gives you conditional logic, so ‘do this IF this happens’. Universal inbox is an inbox in Kajabi that receives messages from different socials you have. Comment-to-DM is a way to automatically send a message to people on IG or Facebook who comment on your posts.
In the Pro plan you get a dedicated support rep from Kajabi, Video transcriptions and translations, the API, access to the code editor and the Branded Moble App for no extra charge which is $199/month in any other plan.
The most likely reason people upgrade
If you are in the Kickstarter plan, you are likely going to run into the 250 contact limit first or want a second product, or want to use a custom domain. Those will be the most likely reasons to upgrade to the Basic plan.
If you are in the Basic plan, you are likely going to run into the 2500 contact limit first or want advanced automations or one of the new features like cohort courses or comment-to-DM. Those will be the most likely reasons to upgrade to the Basic plan.
The Growth plan is a very full plan, you will probably only upgrade from this one if you need more than 1 website, or want the code editor or mobile app.
Kajabi Kickstarter Plan
Kajabi pricing for the Kickstarter plan is $89 per month, with the 20% billed annually discount it is the equivalent of $71 per month.
Key features of the Kickstarter Plan:
- 1 Product
- 1 Community with unlimited access groups
- 250 contacts
- 1 admin user
- 1 website
- Unlimited landing pages, emails, and funnels
- Creator Studio
- Kajabi AI Features
- 24/7 Support
Who is the Kajabi Kickstarter Plan For?
The updates Kajabi made in September 2025 made the Kickstarter plan a really great plan. If you are new to your business you will be able to do a lot with this plan and the monthly fee is very low.
This plan is perfect for people who are just starting their business and haven’t started selling a lot or grown their email list. You get all the funnels and community use you can imagine to draw people in and start selling your main product. Once you hit 250 people on your contact list, you will be upgrading to the basic or growth plan but in the meantime, you can enjoy the low monthly fee and still get a lot of great features in Kajabi.
Kajabi Basic Plan
Kajabi pricing for the Basic plan is $179 per month, with the 20% billed annually discount it is the equivalent of $143 per month.
Key features of the Basic Plan:
- 5 Products
- 1 Community with unlimited access groups
- 2,500 contacts
- 1 admin user
- 1 website
- Unlimited landing pages, emails, and funnels
- Creator Studio
- Kajabi AI Features
- 24/7 Support
- Custom Domain

Who is the Kajabi Basic Plan For?
The Kajabi basic plan is a great plan for any creator who has under 2,500 people on their email list and wants to market multiple courses. The 5 product limit gives you room to try things out and build a robust offering with a course, podcast, and coaching all mixed into one and still have room to sell other things.
If you are in the basic plan the first things that will cause you to upgrade to the Growth plan is likely the 2,500 contact limit, or wanting extra features like the advanced automations, cohort courses, universal inbox, and comment-to-DM.
Kajabi Growth Plan
Kajabi pricing for the Basic plan is $249 per month, with the 20% billed annually discount it is the equivalent of $199 per month.
Key features of the Kajabi Growth Plan:

Is the Kajabi Growth Plan right for you?
The Kajabi growth plan is the most popular plan. It gives you 50 products and 25 extra admin users as well as a good set of new features. There is not a lot you can’t do with the Kajabi Growth plan. I have a full review of the Growth plan if you want to learn more about the features it introduces.
When you sign up for a 30-day free trial, you get put in the growth plan. You can change this at any time during your trial if you need a different set of features. When you change from the growth plan to another plan during a free trial period, your free trial ends on the day you make that change, so if you are going to do this, try to make the change at the end of your trial period.
You likely aren’t going to need to upgrade from the Growth plan to the Pro plan, but if you want more than 1 website or the access to the code editor, or the branded mobile app, those might be good reasons.
Kajabi Pro Plan
Kajabi pricing for the Pro plan is $499 per month, with the 20% billed annually discount it is the equivalent of $399 per month.
Key features of the Kajabi Pro Plan:
- Unlimited Products
- 3 Community with unlimited access groups
- 100,000 contacts
- 25 admin user

- Cohort courses
- Webhooks
- Dedicated Success Manager
- Video Transcripts and Translation

- Custom Code Editor
- The Branded Mobile App ($199/month Value)
Is the Kajabi Pro Plan right for you?
This plan is packed to the max and ready for you if you have a lot going on in your business and need these high quotas.
What is the Kajabi Code Editor?
The code editor is access to the code that controls every page. Unlike the custom code area in each page, or the header page scripts area in the site details or the footer scripts in the checkout pages; the code editor gives you full control over the whole program. This is a completely technical tool and is not intended for typical Kajabi users.
Kajabi Add-Ons
Some of the newest features of Kajabi are add-on features that are not included in any of the plans. These add-ons have their own fee structure and can be ignored or added onto your monthly plan fee.
These are the add-ons that are not included in the monthly fee of the Kajabi plans:
- Landing Page and Website Page Widgets
- Chatbot
- Extra Creator Studio Credits
- Adobe Express Premium Membership
- Branded Mobile App
You can also add more of a specific thing (like 1 more website) to your account in an ale-cart way if you are bumping into one limit in your plan but don’t want to upgrade. To see the cost of this you can go into the billing area and try to add more of what you need.
Landing Page and Website Page Widgets
Kajabi has partnered with Common Ninja to integrate their widgets into Kajabi. Each Kajabi plan allows users to add 1 widget to their website for free. To get more than one widget you can sign up for one of the following plans according to your needs.

If you are in an annual plan for your Kajabi account, you will only be able to get an annual plan for your widgets, if you are in a monthly plan for Kajabi then you can get a monthly plan for widgets.
There are no page view limits for these widgets when you subscribe through Kajabi. You can learn more about Kajabi’s integration with Common Ninja from Kajabi’s widget help article on their website.
Chatbot
Kajabi has an integration with Creator.io to provide a multipurpose chatbot to your Kajabi content. This chatbot can be used for lead generation and sales, customer support, or even as a digital coach in your course material. There is a free plan for the Creator.io chatbot, the monthly plan options are below:

What is the Kajabi Creator Studio?
The Creator Studio is an AI-assisted tool that helps you leverage your existing video content to create more valuable content for your social media or blog. Every Kajabi plan gives you credits for 1 Creator Studio project each month. A project based on one video, so each month you can use 1 of your videos to create many types of content as seen below.

If this tool is something that works well for you and you want more project credits, you can subscribe to a monthly plan of project credits that meets your needs. If you choose the premium plan, you get a complimentary Adobe Express Premium account.

What does Adobe Express Have to do with Kajabi?
Kajabi has partnered with Adobe Express to manage video editing in the Creator Studio and image editing in website and landing pages. This brings a huge amount of functionality for social media content creation and image editing into Kajabi.
The pricing for Adobe Express is not connected to Kajabi. So to use these features you start with a free plan of Adobe Express and if you want you can upgrade to a premium plan. If you are already an Adobe user, you can connect into Kajabi with your existing membership.
The premium upgrade gives you 250 ai generation credits per month instead of 25 which is what you get in the free plan. You also get access to the premium selection of stock assets, templates and fonts.

Branded Mobile App
The basic Kajabi app is something your customers can use no matter what plan you are in. Kajabi has an upgraded app you can pay for that is exclusively yours. You get to brand it, customize it, and even sell through it. It cost $199 per month unless you are in the Pro plan in which case you get as an included feature. You can learn more about the branded app from Kajabi on their website.

Is Kajabi Too Expensive?
Here are 3 tips to consider when comparing Kajabi pricing to pricing of other platforms:
- Pay attention to the number of contacts you get with your email marketing provider. The size of your email list has a big influence on the cost of email marketing from other platforms like ConvertKit, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign which scale their pricing on list size. With Kajabi’s basic plan you up to 10,000 contacts. The monthly prices of these platforms can be over $200 at the 10,000 level. Also keep in mind that your email list will grow, and with most email platforms, as your list grows, your fee does too.
- Do your best to know what features of Kajabi you expect to use. If you are just using Kajabi for a website platform, there will be a lot of cheaper options out there. If you are using Kajabi for a website, email marketing, funnels, and courses, then it is going to be cheaper than the combined price of all the alternatives you would need.
- Consider how valuable your time is. It takes a lot of effort to learn how to use different platforms. Using an all-in-one platform like Kajabi means learning one tool. Using several single service platforms is going to require the same learning curve process for each one, and when updates and changes are made, the effort to adjust is multiplied.
After working with dozens of people, helping them bring their businesses into Kajabi, some of them save money on their monthly fee and some of them don’t. There are a lot of tools and subscriptions that you can end up paying for if you are using different niche softwares for each of your needs. Whether it is too expensive comes down to what you are getting out of it. If you’re using the features, and they are helping you sell, then Kajabi offers a great value to you by bringing so many tools into one ecosystem at a single fee.
Which Kajabi Plan is Right for You? (A Coach's Recommendation)
The 'best' plan is the one that fits your business stage. Here’s a simple breakdown:
- Choose the Kickstarter Plan if... you are a brand new creator launching your very first product. You're starting from scratch and have a small (or non-existent) email list.
- Choose the Basic Plan if... you have a small, engaged audience (under 2,500) and want to experiment with multiple product types (e.g., a course, a coaching package, and a download).
- Choose the Growth Plan if... you are an established, full-time creator. This is the new default plan for any 6-figure+ business. You need the affiliate program, advanced automations, and a high product limit (50) to scale. This is also the plan you must choose if your list is over 2,500 contacts.
- Choose the Pro Plan if... you are running a 7-figure+ business. You have a massive email list (over 25,000), a team (you need 10+ admin seats), or require advanced technical tools like the API and Code Editor.
Kajabi Pricing: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: How much does Kajabi cost per month?
Kajabi's 2025 pricing has four monthly tiers:
- Kickstarter: $89/month
- Basic: $179/month
- Growth: $249/month
- Pro: $499/month
You can get a 20% discount on all plans by paying annually.
Q: Is Kajabi really worth it in 2025?
Yes, Kajabi is worth it for serious creators, coaches, and entrepreneurs who want an all-in-one platform. It replaces the need for separate subscriptions for email marketing (like ConvertKit), a website builder (like Squarespace), a funnel builder (like ClickFunnels), and a course platform (like Teachable), plus it does so much more.. When you add up those costs, Kajabi is often a more cost-effective solution. And that is just from a cost perspective, how much more time will it take to learn all of those different platforms instead of just learning one that will do all those things.
Q: Does Kajabi have a free plan?
No, Kajabi does not have a free plan. However, Kajabi offers a 14-day free trial for new users to test all the features and through affiliates, you can get extended trials. Check out my 30-day free trial if you want to explore Kajabi and get free support to flatten the learning curve.
Q: What is the main difference between Kajabi Basic and Growth?
The two main differences are limits and features. The new Basic plan ($179/mo) is limited to 5 Products and 2,500 Contacts. The new Growth plan ($249/mo) is a major upgrade, offering 50 Products and 25,000 Contacts. Crucially, the Growth plan also unlocks the valuable scaling tools: the Affiliate Program and Advanced Automations, which are not available on the Basic plan.
Q: Does Kajabi charge transaction fees?
This has a two-part answer.
- If you use the built-in Kajabi Payments, Kajabi charges 0% transaction fees. You only pay the standard payment processing fee (e.g., 2.9% + 30¢).
- If you are on a new 2025 plan and choose to use a 3rd-party gateway (like Stripe or PayPal), Kajabi will add a fee. This fee ranges from 5% on the Kickstarter plan to 0.5% on the Pro plan. You can avoid this fee entirely by using Kajabi Payments.
Kajabi Pricing Conclusion
Hopefully this article has given you a better understanding of Kajabi pricing and its different plans. Ultimately which plan will be best for your business will depend on your unique needs and what features you use. It doesn’t have to be hard to know what plan you need. If you are paying monthly, you can move between the plans each month. So if you don’t know where to start, you can start with the Kickstarter or Basic Plan, and if you need more, upgrade to the growth plan when you have too.
Is Kajabi worth it? That’s up to you to decide, keep in mind what you will use it for and the value of only needing to work with one platform that can take care of several needs. Kajabi is an industry-leading service provider so you can be comfortable knowing they do a good job at a lot of things.
