Episode Overview
Introduction to Kajabi Invoicing
Welcome to another episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes! Today, we're diving into the invoice feature in Kajabi. If you haven't used it yet, you'll find it under Sales, then Invoices, right from your dashboard. It's important to note that this feature is only available if you're using Kajabi Payments.
Kajabi Invoicing is a handy tool that can be extremely useful in certain situations. While it may not be necessary for everyone, those who need it will find it invaluable.
Creating an Invoice
To get started, navigate to Sales and then Invoices. Kajabi provides a simple web wizard to guide you through the process.
First, you'll choose a customer from your contact list, or you can add a new one. Next, you select an offer. It's important to know that Kajabi Invoices are tied to your existing offers-you can't create an invoice for just any amount; it must be based on an offer. All automations and actions are set up within these offers, so invoices and offers work hand-in-hand.
Customizing Your Invoice
One of the key benefits of Kajabi Invoicing is the ability to modify the price directly on the invoice. For example, if you have a six-week coaching package priced at $1,000 and a client wants to add extra sessions, you don't need to create a new offer. Instead, you can adjust the amount on the invoice-say, to $1,500-without affecting the original offer.
You can also add notes to the invoice for additional details. Once the invoice is created, itβs sent to your customer by email. The customer can then click on the link, pay the invoice, and complete the payment through a dedicated invoice checkout page.
Handling Multiple Products and Quantities
Kajabi Invoicing also allows you to send invoices for multiple products or quantities. For instance, if you're selling your coaching package to a company that wants to purchase five packages for their employees, you simply select the offer and adjust the quantity to five. This way, you can collect payment for multiple packages at once, making it ideal for B2B transactions.
Managing and Tracking Invoices
Within the invoice area, you can easily see which invoices are outstanding. You have the option to manually collect payments if necessary, send notifications or reminders, and even void invoices if you need to cancel them. Kajabi Invoicing is a well-rounded and straightforward system for managing your payments directly within Kajabi.
Conclusion
Kajabi Invoicing is a new feature designed to make collecting one-off payments or adjusting offers for specific clients much easier. Instead of duplicating or altering your offers, simply send an invoice and keep your workflow simple and efficient.
